High School: 2008 graduate of Trinity Catholic High School.  Four-year letter winner, serving as team captain his senior year.  Also a four-year letter winner in Basketball and Baseball.  Served as captain for both basketball and baseball as well.

Personal: Born November 20, 1989, in Boston, Mass.  Son of Rosie Delacruz and John Burckhardt of Cambridge, Mass.  Has a brother, Matthew (19).  Majoring in marketing.  Participated in Stonehill's HOPE program during Spring Break in 2011, travelling to Coachella Valley in California, where he and his group of students built nonprofit housing. Supports the Boston Red Sox. Lists Kevin Love as his favorite athlete.
